History of Baby Buzniz
Baby Buzniz was started in 1992 by Retha
Joubert, who realized that there was a demand for quality baby products
as the commercially available items did not always meet the specific
needs of discerning moms. At that time, Anne Hoare, director of
Baby Buzniz Franchise Pty Ltd. was running a daycare center for
babies. Retha and Anne put their heads together to design and
produce the first suitable and practical nappy bag for mom’s and
crèches. Initially an activity cushion (donut) was produced and
marketed at the local Pretoria art and craft markets. Retha also
created the unique name to our company and our warthog design.
These baby products became such a
success that shortly after moving to Ermelo with her family, Retha
launched a factory which produced on a much larger scale. The
product line has expanded to include Sleeping Bags, Back Packs, Carry
Cots and Toy Barrels.

Unfortunately, tragedy struck in 1997
when Retha and her two baby daughters were killed in a motor
accident. The business was then run by her husband and
sister-in-law Marica until Anne purchased the business and brought it
back to Pretoria in 1998.
Realizing the need for catering to the
specific
needs of the mommy-to-be, Anne opened the first Baby Buzniz store in
Lynnridge Mall, Pretoria . This was an immedimapate success, as Baby
Buzniz offers not merely what is commercially available, but rather
special tailored one-on-one service with the goal of providing exactly
what you, as the customer requires. You receive tailored service to
meet your specific needs.
Because of our growing Buzniz we have
since becomne a company with Franshise outlets.
